In the Summer of 2007, my M’am-Mall and Pap Pap Donnie took me on a cross-country vacation. It was very memorable. We visited lots of National Parks, like the Badlands, Yellowstone, The Grand Canyon (south rim), Mount Rushmore, The Petrified Forest and the Painted Desert. My excuse for going along was to check out Graduate Schools with Environmental Engineering programs, particularly Montana Tech. We also met up with my Grandfather’s cousin Lloyd, who took us on a tour of central California. It took us about three weeks and 7,000 miles to make the trip.
